Overview

Once again, a local mom-and-pop owner in TN hired MIG to sell their assisted living community that they had been running for years. The owners were looking to retire and needed a new owner to take their place.

Results

MIG was able to bring a handful of buyers to the table before eventually moving forward with a local group out of Nashville that owned and operated another smaller memory care community. While many groups only look at assets that are over 80 units, there are others that like the home-like environment that a smaller community can provide.

Conclusion

Not every deal fits everyone's box! What is an automatic pass for some groups is exactly what other groups may be looking for. In this case, MIG brought a buyer to the table that had experience with smaller assets and an interest in acquiring more across TN.
